As the summer season heats up, Sensor Tower provides insights into how the top Theme Parks apps have performed on Android devices in the US during the second quarter of 2024.
Starting with Karls, which after its release in May 2023, saw its downloads peak at nearly 10K in the first week of April. The numbers then gradually decreased, settling around 4K towards the end of June.
Next up is Europa-Park & Rulantica. The app experienced a fluctuating downloads trend, with a notable increase to over 4K in late May. Weekly active users showed a positive trajectory, rising from approximately 5K to over 6K by the end of the quarter.
Heide Park Resort also had its fair share of downloads, starting the quarter with over 3K and experiencing a slight dip before climbing back up to around 3.7K in May. The app's weekly active users were impressive, with an upward trend from 8K to 9K, indicating a solid user engagement.
Phantasialand saw its downloads begin at roughly 2.5K, dropping to under 1K in mid-April, and then picking up again to peak at nearly 3K by the end of June. The weekly active users mirrored this pattern, starting at just over 3K and finishing strong with over 3K.
Lastly, Disneyland® Paris had a modest start with its downloads at around 2.3K, dipping to just over 1K in early June. The weekly active users started at more than 5K but saw a decrease to around 3.5K towards the quarter's close.
